we are so happy to announce the Yoga project - the Yoga for Donation in Cork City continues, …What is the yoga project? The yoga project is first at all a great opportunity to discover the beautiful benefits of yoga: strengthen and tone the body and mind. It is suitable for beginners to Yoga and to all who like to support the YTTC trainees. Secondly it is a great opportunity for our qualified Yoga Therapy & Training Centre trainees to teach a ‘public’ yoga class. In other words a yoga project which is serving the community of Cork. The classes of the Yoga project, is designed for beginners in yoga and will include breathing, relaxation and meditations techniques, which are the foundations for calming the mind but at the same time is giving the physical body a good workout. It is important to mention here that the YTTC trainees are exploring not only the teaching aspect of yoga but also (the most important discipline of Yoga) Karma yoga, finding happiness in giving without expecting anything in return. Yoga project is on every Tuesdays 8-9.15 pm and is donation based, drop in is welcome. For more information please contact@corkmovementcentre.com or ring us at 0860433324

She practiced intermittently over the coming years but became more serious about yoga when she joined a pre-natal yoga class in the Cork Movement Centre two years ago and a regular Ashtanga class soon afterwards. These classes helped her to appreciate the immense benefits of yoga – increasing strength and flexibility, relieving stress and contributing to overall wellbeing. Her passion for yoga grew and last year she joined the YTTC teacher training course. Shelagh’s classes are aimed at beginners and those who would like to brush up on their yoga skills. The classes focus on building strength, flexibility and fitness, increasing body awareness and relieving the stresses and tensions of everyday life.
