Hatha Yoga with Norma Slattery
The word Hatha is derived from two sanskrit words "Ha" meaning "sun" and "Tha" meaning "moon". Hatha yoga involves the use of gentle postures, "pranayama" or breath awareness, and meditation to integrate the various aspects of the physical, mental, emotional &spiritual dimensions of human beings. In my teachings and life, i aspire to find a balance between science and spirituality. I have a degree in biomedical science and diploma in Contemporary yoga.I teach with an emphasis on physiology, biochemistry and spirituality, focusing on the benefits the various practices have on the complete body structure.
Balance is self-acceptance without judgement, thereby accepting and understanding others yielding a deeper connection to the universe.
