Bio Energy with Barry Lonergan
I began training in Reiki in 1999 and obtained my masters (an unfortunate translation from the Japanese word ‘Sensei’ – one who has achived sufficient merit to practice and teach) attunement in Jan. 2003. In 2005 I trained in Seichem, a system of healing not unlike Reiki but claiming anchient Egyptian origins. Although I had success with both Reiki and Seichem I wanted to find a healing modality that could operate outside of spiritual/religous systems of thought. I discovered Bio Energy in 2006 and trained with Michael O’Doherty. I qualified with Michael April 2007 and since then have carried out further training abroad as well as attending clinics run by Michael in Cork’s Clarion Hotel. I found all of the healing arts referred to given my life long interest in Martial Arts. I currenlty hold a black belt in Ninjitsu as well as variuos lesser grades several other arts. I also train in Tai Chi and chi kung to help keep my own chi levels up.
