"Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Explorations" is a traditional Hatha yoga system where the emphasis is on the dynamic movement from one ‘asana’ (posture) to the following one. Our classes are focusing on alignment and safety, creating an invigorating and flowing sequence following most of the traditional ‘asanas’ of the Ashtanga Vinyasa tradition. We create balance, strength, flexibility and breath awareness, leading to a light heart and pure and focused mind.

Francesca began her yoga studies in the late 90′s while living in Lanzarote, beginning her practice with the Ashtanga Yoga traditional system with her first teacher Tomas Zorzo from Oviedo, Spain.
She travelled extensely living in different countries and deepening her body and mind awareness through the practice of Yoga.
She trained as a Yoga instructor at the Yoga Arts School in Byron Bay, Australia, completing their teacher training in 2004. She has given full commitment to the teaching of yoga since then, nurturing her teaching with a regular and almost daily practice. She has been attending regular workshops studying with known teachers, amongst those Tomas Zorzo, Luisa Sear, Lino Miele, Dena Kingsberg, Emil Wendel, Ski K. Patthabhi Jois, Manju Jois, Paul Dallaghan.
She completed her second teacher training with David Curtis (Vinyasa Flow) in Ireland in July 2007. She is studying the Iyengar yoga method with teachers in Ireland and Europe attending regular workshops and yoga retreat with different teachers and methods.
She recently spent four months in the South of India where she explored self enquiry, meditation and devotional chanting, as well as practicing Sivananda, Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga with local teachers. She completed her indian stay with a 2 weeks Ashtanga Yoga intensive with Chuck Miller and Maty Ezraty where she found a new and deeper approach to her practice.
Her practice and teaching has matured over the years, going beyond the physicality of the Ashtanga method and incorporating devotion and surrender in her Yoga.
Francesca also completed 2 modules of "Somatic Movement Education in the Tradition of Thomas Hanna" with Brian Siddharta Ingle. She is also currently teaching somatic education classes and workshops and she is incorporating the mind-body training with her teaching.

Francesca teaches "Vinyasa Yoga explorations" on Mondays at 6.15pm (level 1), and 8 pm (level 2), Wednesdays at 6.30 (level 1) and 8 pm (level 2)
